Our approach to change gives you the opportunity to shape your programme. We take care to personalise the offer rather than be prescriptive. The modular design allows you to select what is most appropriate for your needs. We endeavour to be as flexible as possible whilst maintaining the integrity of our change process and the support that comes with it.

Groundwork

Designed to help you prepare the way for your change project this phase in our process starts by creating clarity about where you are now and what challenges you face. It includes:

  • A diagnostic tool tailored to your organisation/sector
  • A one day workshop focused on making sense of where you are in terms of your current strategy, government policy and your key challenges
  • Completion of high level project plan


Core change process


Our change process is built around a series of workshops and events which support a core change team who in turn work with teams drawn from across the organisation on a range of projects designed to help you meet the challenges you face.

  • A half day mobilisation event designed to help bring together and create the core change team and to begin to develop ideas around the projects.
  • A two day immersion workshop during which the core change team members work with our facilitators to survey the landscape in more detail, to dig deeper into issues, to focus on the future and the projects which will help deliver the vision of the organisation whilst supporting its strategic direction. Decisions are made about the people the core team want to involve in the wider change project teams and the outputs are very practical plans of action including a communications plan to inform the wider workforce about the programme.

Once membership of project teams has been agreed a further day involving all the change teams is facilitated by our consultants in order to help develop solutions and to start planning actions for the following months.

As part of our core offer your Creating Tomorrow lead consultant will also attend eight weekly core change team meetings to help and advise and two plenary change teams meetings when we recommend all the project teams come together to share progress, gain feedback on their work and celebrate success. We also recommend a final event for the change project at which results can be shared and celebrated.


Support


We are pleased to offer additional support in packages of 5 days of consultancy in order to help ensure the delivery of project outcomes and the sustainability of the work of the change project teams, one aspect of which is advising on the embedding of changes into the strategic plan.
